Dad’s Weekend wine tasting, Brelsford WSU Visitor Center extended hours

Treat Dad to some Cougar-connected wine during a Battle of the Crimsons tasting 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center as part of this year’s WSU Dad’s Weekend.

Friday’s tasting will feature four red wines from various WSU alumni wineries in the spirit of competing crimsons as the Cougar football team faces off against the Stanford Cardinals at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 in Martin Stadium.

The visitor center will be open 7 .m.-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 for Dad’s Weekend.

Featured wines include Colter’s Creek Koos Koos Kia Red, Arbor Crest Merlot, Erath Pinot Noir and Ram Cellars Cabernet Franc. Tasting tickets cost $5 at the door. Limit one per person.

Those tasting must be 21 or older. Identification will be verified. Tickets include a commemorative Brelsford WSU Visitor Center wine glass while supplies last and can be redeemed for $5 off a bottle of wine.
