Carson College of Business Power Breakfast June 9

“Unexpected Outcomes: COVID 19 and Business in the Pacific Northwest” will be the topic of the semi-annual Power Breakfast networking event hosted by Washington State University Carson College of Business.

The Power Breakfast is designed to inform, inspire and engage business leaders on contemporary business issues. The event is free to the public and will be held virtually. Participants may register online.

Panelists include:

Joe Fugere, WSU alumnus, founder and CEO of Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria

Fugere has five restaurants in the greater Seattle area, a mobile food truck and two in-store restaurants inside QFC groceries in Kirkland and Seattle’s University District. He earned the Gil Centioli Memorial Award by Festa Italiana Seattle for continual support of the Italian community and the John Merrill Memorial Service Award for services to the Rainier District community. Tutta Bella is the Northwest’s first Neapolitan pizzeria to be certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. The company partners with a non-profit in each neighborhood where it has a location, donates surplus food to those in need and practices waste reduction and energy conservation.

Nick Streuli, WSU alumnus and executive director of external affairs, Office of the Governor

Streuli has over 10 years of experience in public policy, government relations and executive management. He joined the Inslee administration after four years as legislative director for the Employment Security Department (ESD). Recently, he worked closely with former Governor Gregoire and Challenge Seattle CEOs to establish a nationally recognized public-private partnership to rapidly roll out COVID-19 vaccines to Washingtonians.

Stacey Walker, senior vice president of human resources, Fortive Corporation

Walker leads Fortive’s talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts. She helps promote Fortive’s culture and values across the worldwide organization and partners with operating companies to build strong teams and sustainable processes. Prior to Fortive, she spent 10 years at Danaher supporting industrial technologies and environmental segments before being tapped to lead global talent management on a corporate level.
