Annual Walton Lecture Explores Boundaries of Fair Insurance Pricing, Sept. 25

The 25th annual Walton Lecture will be held Monday, Sept. 25, 5-6 p.m. in Todd 216. The keynote speaker is Greg Ness, chairman, president and chief executive officer of the StanCorp Financial Group and Standard Insurance Company. Ness will present “Applied Risk:  The Science and Strategy of Risk Mitigation in the Insurance Industry.” Ness has nearly 40 years of insurance industry experience, including employee benefits, retirement planning and investments, and has held various leadership and executive positions. The lecture is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Department of Finance and Management Science in the Carson College of Business.
