Removal of diseased trees planned over holidays

PULLMAN – Unless snow dictates otherwise, the Facilities Operations grounds department will be removing trees during winter break that are dead, dying or deemed structurally hazardous by a certified arborist.

The trees have all been previously listed in WSU Announcements for tree removal with the exception of a Norway Spruce between Barnard Hall and Coman Hall, and all but five of the Silver Maples on College Avenue in front of the Webster Physical Science building and its east plaza.

Wood from these trees will be taken to Surplus Stores. Ron Redman is the contact at Surplus Stores and can be reached at rlredman@wsu.edu or 335-4630.

If you have any questions or concerns about these tree removals, please contact Kappy Brun, Facilities Operations grounds supervisor, at kappy@wsu.edu or 335-9067.
