Students learn as they teach outdoor science

More than 40 WSU students preparing to be teachers gave environmental science lessons to 274 third-graders from seven elementary schools recently at Klemgard County Park.
 
Klemgard Outdoor Environmental Education Day is an April tradition for the WSU College of Education. This year’s sunny, windswept field day was organized by assistant professor Blakely Tsurusaki, whose specialty is science education.
