VANCOUVER,
Youth 13-18 years of age are eligible to join Teen-Works. They may select one or more Career Exploration Tracks, or short courses, held on the WSU Vancouver campus from 6-7:30 p.m.
Beginning in late April and concluding in mid-June the tracks for the Spring/Summer term include: Engineering/Science, Self Defense/Tae Kwon Do, Human Anatomy, VHS Camcorder, Lego Robotics, Business and Reality TV, Sensors and Gadgets, Creative Writing, and Poetry. Space will be limited and early applications are encouraged.
New and returning Teen-Works members must attend the meeting on April 11 from 6-7:30 p.m. at WSU Vancouver to confirm their track choices. Special presentations on college resources and resume preparation will be included during the evening program.
