TRI-CITIES, Wash. — Washington State University Tri-Cities invites employers, alumni and current college students both graduate and undergraduate to participate in the 6th annual Career Information Day March 29.
The public is also invited to attend the event, which will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the
Nearly 50 companies will send representatives to campus for this annual event. “This is the largest and most diverse group of employers that we have yet hosted for a Career Information Day,” said Marjorie Seipt, career services manager at the campus.
“Invitations have also been extended to students at all colleges in the region. We want college students to have every opportunity to learn what is out there in the way of jobs. They need to explore how they might use their degree after graduation or how they can improve upon their current employment situation,” she said. “A college degree does not equal a career or a job. This is an outstanding opportunity to broaden horizons and do some of that all-important networking.”
