‘The Nutcracker’ Holiday Tradition Returns to Beasley Coliseum Dec. 4

PULLMAN, Wash. – After a two-year absence, Washington State University will host two performances of “The Nutcracker” ballet at Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum on Dec. 4.

The performances are set for 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $26, $24 and $14 for adults, with discounts available for students and children under 12. Tickets are on sale at all TicketsWest outlets, by phone at (800) 325-SEAT and online at www.beasley.wsu.edu.

The Nutcracker Ballet is based on the story “The Nutcracker and the King of Mice,” written by E.T.A. Hoffman. The story is about a young girl who dreams of a nutcracker prince and a fierce battle with a mouse king. The ballet is brought to life by colorful sets, dazzling costumes and an imaginative storyline.

The Eugene (Ore.) Ballet Co. will perform “The Nutcracker,” brought to WSU by Festival Dance and Performing Arts, based in Moscow, Idaho.
