Arts icon retiring

Martha “Marty” Mullen is retiring May 15 after more than 31 years at WSU working with ASWSU and arts programming. A retirement party, “A Celebration of the Arts at WSU,” is planned for 3:30 – 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 22. A program of performances and readings by some of Marty’s artistic friends will begin at 4:15 p.m. The celebration will take place in the Museum of Art to acknowledge the work of Fine Arts graduate students.

Marty has requested no presents. Any who might have wished to contribute are asked instead to donate to their favorite campus/community arts program or student organization.
