ASWSU hosts multicultural fundraising dinner

Seattle businessman, philanthropist and WSU regent Ken Alhadeff will be the guest speaker at “Empowering a Vision… Multicultural Leaders of Tomorrow,” a fundraising dinner set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, in the CUB Ballroom.

Sponsored by the Associated Students of Washington State University, the dinner will raise money for a variety of annual multicultural conferences that came up short of funds this year. They include the SHAPING, VIBES and CASHE conferences and the Pah-loots-pu celebration.

Tickets must be purchased by Friday, Dec. 5. Individual tickets cost $45 for students, $65 for non-students. Tables seating 10 cost $600 for businesses, $500 for university administration, $400 for university departments and $300 for student groups.
