Poster makes debut June 3

The unveiling of the 2004 National Lentil Festival commemorative poster, a small portion of which is show at left, will be the highlight of the festival’s annual wine tasting and lentil hors d’oeuvre party on Thursday, June 3.

Pullman artist Kary Lee painted this year’s poster image, which “invokes the spirit of Americana and community experienced at the festival,” according to festival officials. Lee will sign posters featuring her reproduced art for $10 each as a festival fund raiser.

The wine tasting will be from 6-8 p.m. at the Old Post Office Wine Cellar & Gallery in Pullman. Tickets are $25 per person and include a commemorative wine glass, 12 tastes and hearty hors d’oeuvres. Non-alcoholic beverages also will be available.

For reservations or more information, contact the Pullman Chamber of Commerce at 334-3565.
