A banner day

Jim Thompson, a heavy equipment operator with WSU Facilities Operations, hangs new banners along Stadium Way last week. More than 175 vinyl banners will be mounted on light poles throughout Pullman and the campus to replace worn cloth banners produced 10 years ago and taken down last winter. Artwork for these was designed by Doug Garcia, WSU Marketing Communications. The banners were manufactured in western Washington and paid for with nonstate funds.
