New immigration compliance specialist to begin March 6

Dena Neese will begin her appointment as the Immigration Compliance Specialist on Monday, March 6 in the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS).

Neese comes to WSU with a strong background in employment-based permanent residency petitions and has been a practicing attorney since August 2001.

Most recently Neese worked with Littler Mendelson Bacon and Dear where she represented a Fortune 100 company in employment-based immigration matters, overseeing the company’s labor certification filings, and coordinating with other attorneys to handle her client’s H-1B, O-1, TN, B-1, and J-1 nonimmigrant petition work.

Neese is fluent in Spanish and taught English as a Foreign Language in Mexico and Costa Rica following her undergraduate degree. She also grew up on the Palouse and is happy to be returning to the area with her husband Ryan. Neese can be reached by calling 335-4508.
