The Washington State University Alumni Association (WSUAA) is teaming up with the Seattle Mariners for “Cougar Night” on Friday, Aug. 25. Sports fans who cheer for the Cougars and the Seattle Mariners can show their support for both organizations by attending the 7:05 p.m. game against the Boston Red Sox at Safeco Field. Cougar fans who purchase their tickets through the WSUAA or by the information listed below will receive a free Crimson & Gray Seattle Mariners’ cap; complete with both the Cougar and Mariners logos. Additionally, ticket purchasers will all sit in a special Cougar section and enjoy a special appearance by Butch T. Cougar. A pre-game rally at the Pyramid Ale House will be held prior to game time. A limited number of tickets and free hats have been reserved for Cougar Night. Tickets are $18 per person and need to be reserved by Aug. 18. Ticket orders for 25 people or fewer can be made by e-mailing wsualumnigroup@SeattleMariners.com or by calling the WSUAA. Groups of 25 people or more can call (206) 346-4463.
