Solstice quintet presents summer concert

PULLMAN – The WSU Solstice Wind Quintet will present a special summer concert at the WSU Art Museum at 3:00 pm on Saturday May 17, 2008.
 
The concert is free of charge and open to the public.
 
The Solstice Quintet features flutist Ann Marie Yasinitsky, flute; Shannon Scott, clarinet; Keri McCarthy, oboe; Jennifer Scriggins Brummett, horn; and Ryan Hare, bassoon–all WSU School of Music faculty members.
 
Solstice has presented hundreds of concerts throughout the Pacific Northwest including performances on prestigious chamber music
series.
 
The program will include works from around the world by Austrian, German, French, Argentinean and American composers Ibert, Lefebvre, Haydn, Reicha, Piazzolla and Schuller.
 
This concert is made possible by the WSU School of Music, WSU Art Museum, and VPLAC.
