Jennings, Cochran re-appointed as regents

PULLMAN – Laura Jennings of Shoreline and Harold Cochran of Prescott have been re-appointed to the Board of Regents of WSU by Gov. Chris Gregoire.
 
Jennings has served on the board since July 2005. She currently consults for start-up companies in the Seattle area. Previously, she shpent 12 years as an executive at Microsoft Corporation, serving as vice president of Worldwide Strategic Planning, vice president of MSN and in various other capacities.
 
Cochran was appointed to the board in February 2007. He and his wife Valerie, along with thier son Eric and his wife Melissa, farm 5,500 acres near Walla Walla. He was a founding stockholder in Bank of the West, Walla Walla, and later served 13 years on the Board of Directors.
 
The regents’ new term run through Sept. 30, 2015.
