PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s office of Campus Involvement will sponsor events tomorrow (May 27) and June 1.
The 2003 drama “Mystic River” will be shown tomorrow in the Compton Union Building auditorium at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Admission is free.

The film, directed by Clint Eastwood, won Oscars this year for best actor (Sean Penn) and best supporting actor (Tim Robbins).
On June 1, WSU will present award-winning band 10 Minute Down from noon to 1 p.m. on Glenn Terrell Mall.
Formed by two college friends in 1997, the seven-member band has increased its fan base around the Northwest by performing for a variety of audiences. In 2001, the Local Planet Weekly in Spokane recognized 10MD with the Best Local Band, Best Local Album and Best Local Web site awards.
The band has performed with Less than Jake, Green Day and Blink 182. In case of rain, the event will move to the CUB Lair.
