Student Accommodations and Disability Services seeking advisory board members

Student Accommodations and Disability Resources (formerly Access Center) is seeking members for two advisory boards: the Student Advisory Board and the Faculty Advisory Board.

Student Advisory Board

The Student Advisory Board is a liaison between students with disabilities and the Student Accommodations Office. Members provide feedback, advocate for inclusive policies, and ensure student voices are represented in decision-making.

  • Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled Pullman students registered with Student Accommodations
  • Membership: 8–12 student members representing diverse disabilities and academic programs; One-year term renewable upon reapplication
  • Responsibilities: Share feedback on policies, services, and initiatives; Collaborate on accessibility improvements; Attend two regular meetings per year (November and April)

Faculty Advisory Board

The Faculty Advisory Board provides guidance and advocacy to support equitable access for students with disabilities.

  • Eligibility: Open to current Pullman faculty members from all disciplines
  • Membership: 8–12 faculty members from diverse academic ranks and departments; Staggered two-year terms, renewable once
  • Responsibilities: Advise on academic accommodation policies and procedures; Attend two regular meetings per year (November and April)
  • Apply for the Faculty Advisory Board
