WSU faculty/staff fitness classes

WSU would like for everyone to know that free fitness classes are available. The program, now going into its 10th year, offers classes every week for its faculty, staff, employees, retirees, and students.

This semester, classes are as follows:

  • Monday night — Introductory Yoga
    (gentle stretching and pose holding)
  • Tuesday night — Zumba Gold
(dance fitness set to international rhythms such as bachata, flamenco, rock & roll, salsa, swing, tango, etc.)
  • Thursday night — Zumba Toning
(just like Zumba Gold but using small toning sticks)

Classes are taught by CAHNRS staff member Robert Yarbrough, a certified group, dance, and aquatic fitness instructor. The groove occurs from 5:30–6:30 p.m., taking place at Ensminger Pavilion on the Pullman campus (with the occasional alternate location due to evening events).

For further information or to be placed on the mailing list, please contact CAHNRS staff member Robert Yarbrough at yarbrord@wsu.edu.
