The College of Arts and Sciences would like to recognize the following WSU Vancouver faculty who are retiring, effective May 15, 2025:

  • Laurie Mercier, PhD, Claudius O. and Mary W. Johnson Distinguished Professor of History, 1995–2025
  • John Bishop, PhD, Professor of Biological Sciences, 1998–2025
  • Art Blume, PhD, Professor of Psychology, 2010–2025
  • Karen Schmaling, PhD, Professor of Psychology, 2010–2025
