We are looking for participants for a research study to evaluate the effect of a head-and-neck protection system on neck strength and muscle activity.
Participation in the study is completely voluntary. It will involve answering survey questions, having sensors placed on your neck, maintaining a constant load against gravity, and exerting to generate your maximum neck strength against resistance while wearing a helmet and associated devices. Before you can be tested, you must first meet a set of criteria to ensure your safety and wellbeing throughout the course of this study. Participation is completely voluntary. You will need to make two visits to the lab a week apart, each visit lasting approximately two hours, and you will be able to stop and withdraw from the study at any time, for any reason. You will receive $50 in Visa gift cards at the completion of the study.
