Access Microsoft Copilot Chat in Teams and Outlook, April 23

Starting Wednesday, April 23, WSU users can access the web version of Microsoft Copilot Chat directly within Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Between 8 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on April 22, Information Technology Services (ITS) is enabling a new Copilot Chat button in the two Microsoft apps. With this button, all WSU Microsoft users can opt-in to Copilot Chat until May 1.

Starting May 1, Microsoft will automatically pin Copilot Chat to the navigation menu in Teams and Outlook by default.

ITS is enabling this button ahead of the WSU Microsoft Copilot Chat Workshop on April 24 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to facilitate participation and engagement.
