Veterinary Medicine Open House & Teddy Bear Clinic

An annual College of Veterinary Medicine event for the whole family!

Teddy Bear Surgery Clinic: Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal, get scrubbed in with veterinary students, and assist with surgery.

Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

The open house will also feature:

  • An anatomically-painted horse or cow
  • Hospital tours
  • Trivia questions
  • Arts and crafts
  • Animal/nutrition-themed corn hole
  • Scavenger hunts, and many more opportunities to learn about animals
  • Numerous veterinary clubs will be on hand to visit with the public
