Ceremony, dance, and clothing drive caps National Farmworkers Awareness Week celebration

The community is invited to the closing celebration for Washington State University Pullman’s National Farmworkers Awareness Week (NFAW), Friday, March 28, 7–10 p.m., in Ensminger Pavilion.

The closing celebration will include a short program, a dance, and a food and clothing Drive in support of Washington Migrant Clinics.

Farm workers are essential to the agricultural industry and work with produce, livestock, dairy products, and in processing facilities to help feed America. The WSU High School Equivalency Program (HEP) and the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) hosted many activities this week to educate the community, show gratitude, and honor farm workers for the important work they do.
