Title: Axiological Frameworks and Community Engaged Research

Abstract: We’ll consider how axiological frameworks undergird community engaged research. We’ll reflect on the principles and values that frame our work as community engaged scholars. Often, researchers’ values/ethical principles are implied/assumed in community engaged research. However, these values are a rich site for reflection. Our values are driving factors behind how and why research happens and, therefore, are a cornerstone of reciprocal engaged research.
