Cougs Behind the Crimson

Get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to produce major WSU events. The university’s central video unit shadowed the Pullman Events Team in December as it prepared for WSU’s system-wide Fall commencement.

“There’s a lot of pieces when people come to an event that happen behind the scenes,” explains Sarah Mahaffy, events director with the Pullman chancellor’s office. She and her colleagues are featured throughout the video tending to event preparations, explaining various aspects of the challenges they overcome and helping students look their best as they arrive for the big day.

Produced by WSU Video Services, a unit within University Marketing and Communications, the short video is part of the Cougs Behind the Crimson series on YouTube.
