The arrival of the holiday season brings with it the opportunity to send Washington State University-themed cards to family, friends, and colleagues around the world.
Customizable holiday cards featuring Butch as well as his real-life cougar counterpart are among the offerings from Design and Printing Services. In addition to returning favorites, new designs are also slated to hit the storefront soon, according to DPS Director Edward Sala
“Cougs clearly love their holiday greetings,” Sala said. “I would say we mail out about 25,000 cards and send more than 100,000 holiday-themed emails to both internal and external audiences each year.”
Design and Printing Services has created custom holiday cards for decades, but only recently began selling pre-printed and customizable holiday cards via their storefront.
Custom holiday card designs typically take 7–10 days to get on the press and another few days to get into the mail stream. Custom card design requests can be submitted using the online order form.
Pre-printed cards ordered online can be delivered to any campus office system-wide within three to five business days. At least 200 pieces need to be ordered to qualify a department for non-profit postage rates.
