Women* of Distinction / Woman* of the Year Award nominations open now

The President’s Commission on the Status of Women is accepting nominations for the Women* of Distinction Awards / Woman* of the Year Awards. Please help us recognize the achievements and contributions of Women of Distinction and their allies at, or collaborating with, WSU. Women* of Distinction awardees are people who identify as women and their allies. A distinction award is available for one of the nominees in each category of:

  • Tenure Track Faculty
  • Career Track Faculty
  • Administrator
  • Staff
  • Undergraduate
  • Graduate and Professional Students
  • WSU Alumni
  • Women in the community who have demonstrated a commitment to collaborating/partnering with the WSU community

All nominees are also eligible for the Woman* of the Year Award. Nominations and self-nominations are encouraged from all WSU campuses, locations, WSU Extension, and our community partners.

Please submit online nominations to the Women of Distinction Committee by Friday, Dec. 20, at 5 p.m.
