Joint TIAA and WSU benefit presentations, Oct. 9 and 10

On Oct. 9 and 10, TIAA representatives and WSU Benefits staff will be providing the following retirement presentations. All sessions are available by Zoom, and offered every fall and spring semester: Zoom Meeting ID: 812 058 2016.

  • WSURP participants: Pre-retirement presentations:
    Are you thinking of retiring within the next five years? If so, join HRS Benefits and TIAA for a pre-retirement seminar. We will be covering topics such as retiree health insurance, retirement processes, and accessing retirement income.

    Two sessions will be available:

    • Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1–4 p.m.
    • Thursday, Oct. 10, 8:30–11:30 a.m.
  • All retirement-eligible employees: HRS/TIAA benefits check-up presentation:
    Has it been a while since you reviewed your benefits? Would you like an overview of the benefits WSU offers? Are you not close to retiring, but thinking about what you may need to be doing for retirement or long-term financial planning?

    Join Human Resource Services (HRS) and TIAA for a benefits and retirement check-up session! We will review the WSU benefits package, tax advantaged medical and retirement savings accounts, financial planning tips, the TIAA voluntary retirement program, and planning now for a financially secure retirement.

    This presentation is open to all benefit-eligible employees, both DRS and WSURP participants, and will be held Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. – noon.
