Pullman and Extension phone system maintenance, March 11–15

Beginning Monday, March 11, until Friday, March 15, Information Technology Services (ITS) is replacing and upgrading several components of WSU Pullman and WSU Research and Extension Units (REUs) VoIP infrastructure, along with WSU Pullman’s UCCX Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) system.

For a detailed schedule of this work, along with more details regarding impact, please visit its.wsu.edu.

Although ITS does not anticipate direct user impact from the scheduled VoIP upgrades, WSU Pullman and WSU REU phones may re‑register at the start of each maintenance period and should return to normal service within 5 minutes.

If a user encounters issues with a campus phone following a maintenance period, technical teams recommend unplugging the cable from the back of the phone, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging the cable back in.

The UCCX ACD system will also be unavailable from 8 p.m. on March 13 to 3 a.m. on March 14.

To report unresolved phone system issues, or for any additional questions, please contact Crimson Service Desk via email at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu or phone at 509‑335‑4357.
