Friday deadline for new grant opportunity

Encourage your students to attend February Career Expo Madness events and be eligible for a new $500 professional development grant!

Faculty who apply online by Friday, Jan. 26, can signal their plans to build Expo attendance into 300- and 400-level courses. Plans might describe, for example, lesson plans, a graded or ungraded assignment, or extra credit. An online career readiness tool kit for faculty details the needed information.

If 40 or more of your students (from one or more classes) sign in and attend a career fair, the Academic Success and Career Center will provide a $500 grant through your department budget for your use.

A virtual Career Expo is set for Feb. 5 using Handshake, followed by an in-person Career Expo Feb. 6 in Beasley Coliseum, and a virtual CASE Expo Feb. 13 via Handshake, focused on communication, arts, science, and education students.
