As you know, WSU is facing some budget challenges. In order to maintain services and resources that are heavily used, the Libraries are reducing services that are less frequently used. First, Holland and Terrell Libraries will reduce the regular hours of operation. Holland and Terrell’s regular hours beginning Aug. 20 are:
- Sunday, 10 a.m.–11:45 p.m.
- Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–11:45 p.m.
- Friday, 7:30 a.m.–7:45 p.m.
- Saturday, 10 a.m.–7:45 p.m.
The other area impacted is the Animal Health Library. Librarian Suzanne Fricke will be staying in her office in Wegner, but the circulation staff will be moving to Holland and Terrell Access Services. We are grateful that the savings will be gained from vacant positions and reduced security costs.
