Call for Week of Welcome event submissions

Dear WSU colleagues and community partners:

On behalf of the Week of Welcome Steering Committee lead by Spencer Desmarais and Victor Rodriguez, we are thrilled to invite our campus community to submit Week of Welcome activities and events.

Our signature events have been finalized. Details can be found at wow.wsu.edu.

The Steering Committee has developed a framework for Week of Welcome that provides guidance and clarifies the purpose for Week of Welcome in general and for specific activities and events during the week. This framework allows partners to clearly define learning outcomes, communicate and promote events early and often, build a sense of community, encourage events following WOW and during the academic year, and to measure outcomes. Please review the guidance below, prior to submitting your programs.

On behalf of New Student Enrollment, Student Affairs, and the Week of Welcome Steering Committee, thank you for welcoming new and returning Cougs to WSU Pullman.

Please visit wow.wsu.edu/basic-info to submit your event or activity and/or to add your organization to Presence.

Please remember that all submitted events should not conflict with WOW signature events.

For More information and guidance for Week of Welcome activities please contact Vic Rodriguez at v.rodriguez@wsu.edu.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
