WSU International Center’s Friends and Family Program reopens after COVID hiatus

WSU’s International Center is welcoming applications for partner families for its Friends and Family Program. This program connects international students with Pullman community members so they can learn about each other’s cultures in their own ways.

Through the program, WSU international students experience local family life firsthand and community members have an international experience without leaving the Palouse. Friends and Family participants may meet during their free time to exchange cultures and participate in fun events of their choosing, typically at least once a month. The International Center also hosts a few events each semester for the participants.

Applications for community members and WSU international students can be found at the Friends and Family Program website: ip.wsu.edu/intl-center/friends-family-program.

Matches are made during January with an orientation for Friends and Family Program participants tentatively scheduled for mid-February.

Please email any questions to ip.ic.friendsfamily@wsu.edu. We would love to hear from you.
