Art for Social Change Contest

The Art for Social Change Competition seeks to create space for and recognize the role of art in advancing social justice, as a process and a goal. We seek artistic submissions that provoke, challenge, and inspire.

The goal of this competition is to not only call attention to the importance of recognizing the vast inequalities that persist in the world today, but also to recognize the necessity to build a new world — to dream, to envision, to invent, to create — redefining how we live and interact with our surroundings.

We are seeking artistic submissions for our competition and showcase. All kinds of displayable art including music and poetry will be accepted. Follow the link for more details. Deadline for submissions is Jan. 31 at 11:59 p.m.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
