There are lots of details to be considered and rounded up when students apply for financial aid. But they can get reliable information and a good start on the late November deadline by attending the seventh annual FAFSA-WASFA Fest set for Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 12–13.
Sessions each day from 3–5:30 p.m. will be available in person in the Commons Student Center Room 210 at WSU Pullman, as well as virtually on Zoom. Students will meet and work with peer experts as well as professional staff. Beyond the fest, private sessions can be scheduled to continue the discussion.
Pizza will be available to all students attending in person, and everyone is eligible for door prizes.
Co-hosts of FAFSA-WASFA Fest 2022 are the Office of Academic Engagement’s College Affordability Programs, WSU Student Financial Services, and the Carson Edge program in the Carson College of Business.
Two forms important to the financial-aid application process are the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and the WASFA (Washington Application for State Aid).
