WSUP: Banned book readings on the mall — Sept. 22–23

This week is Banned Books Week and to celebrate our freedom to read there will be pop-up public readings on the Mall from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. A sign-up is available online. Lists of books that have been challenged can be found at bit.ly/3LB6a63, www.ala.org/advocacy/bbooks, and elsewhere; a selection is also available at the Check It Out table in Terrell Library.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
