Cyber-Security Summit Oct. 7

Friday, Oct. 7, Pullman’s Information Technology Services (ITS) will host the annual Cyber-Security Awareness Summit from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the Compton Union Building’s (CUB) Butch’s Den.

Open to the public, the event will offer presentations by industry experts including Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Proofpoint, and Microsoft. WSU’s new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Michael Walters, will also offer a status update on the cybersecurity program at WSU.

The summit will wrap up with a panel Q&A session led by VP & CIO, Dr. Sasi Pillay.
