Dr. Michael Rempe, Research Assistant Professor, Department of Translational Medicine and Physiology, will be presenting ‘Mathematical Models and Computational Tools in Sleep Research’ in person in the Spokane Academic Center room 347 and through Zoom on Monday, July 25, 12–1 p.m.
Dr. Rempe is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Translational Medicine and Physiology at WSU. Trained as a mathematician, he takes a computational approach to studying sleep. His work can be roughly divided into the following areas: mathematical modeling, data wrangling, and data analysis (which includes visualization and quantification). Michael will discuss each of these areas and how they complement traditional experimental approaches. Since 2013 he has collaborated with Jonathan Wisor and more recently, he has been working with Amanda Lamp and Marcos Frank.
We look forward to you joining us in person (SAC 347) or through Zoom!
