If you are interested in working to improve and to celebrate the lives of women at WSU, the President’s Commission on the Status of Women is seeking applications from all areas of the WSU community to fill open voting membership positions for the 2022–23 academic year.
The Commission is composed of faculty, administrative professionals, civil service employees, and students from all campuses who are charged with gathering data, monitoring emerging trends, and making policy recommendations directly to the President regarding matters affecting the lives of women in our WSU communities. To reiterate, all members of the WSU community are welcome to apply.
The Commission also works in conjunction with other WSU organizations to sponsor and present events such as the Women of Distinction Recognition Awards and Celebration.
More information about this Presidential Commission can be found at president.wsu.edu/status-women. The application period is open March 21 and will close April 11. Please contact Allison Matthews (chair) almatthews@wsu.edu or Carrie Cuttler (membership coordinator), carrie.cuttler@wsu.edu for more information.
Please complete a brief application (between March 21–April 11) to become a voting member of the CSW!
