The School of Molecular Biosciences and the WSU Office of Research will be hosting a lecture series on Thursday, March 3, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. as part of the annual Smerdon-Reeves Lecture Symposium. Come hear exciting developments in the areas of DNA repair, chromatin and biomedical research. Keynote speakers include Dr. Geneviève Almouzni, head of the Chromatin Dynamics team Research Center at the Institut Curie who will present a seminar titled “An inspiration to link histone variant dynamics and genome stability.” Dr. Jeffrey Hayes, Principal Investigator at the University of Rochester Medical Center will speak on “Chromatin modulators impact H1 CTD structure.”
