Dmitri A. Nusinow, Ph.D., Associate Member and Principal Investigator, Danforth Plant Science Center, presents, “Understanding plant responses to the environment with a focus on light, temperature, and time.”
Dmitri A. Nusinow has been a Principal Investigator and Associate Member at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis, Missouri, since 2012. He researched with Steve A. Kay at the Scripps Institute and the University of California San Diego, where he first began to work on circadian rhythms in plants. He earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Francisco, where he worked on epigenetic mechanisms in mammalian development. His team investigates the mechanisms that link the circadian clock to physiology and development in plants.
