The School of Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University will kick off its annual Hospitality Week Tuesday, March 8 with a variety of public lectures and events, both in person and virtual. Learn more at the Hospitality Week website.
Key attractions include:
- A panel of hospitality industry experts discussing career opportunities and challenges in the hospitality industry.
- A women in hospitality panel featuring career perspectives via Zoom from three hospitality professionals.
- The Granger Cobb Institute for Senior living will host Murry Mercier, general manager for senior living, PointClickCare, to present “Living with Dementia: Hospitality, Home and Relations.”
- Sara Phelps, director of astronaut and customer experience at Blue Origin, will present “A New Era in Space Astronaut Experience: Hospitality for the New Golden Age of Space Travel” at the annual Burtenshaw Distinguished Lecture.
- The School of Hospitality Business Management will host the annual Burtenshaw Career Night, followed by a reception.
- School of Hospitality Business Management will host the Bellhop and Hall of Fame Celebration.
