With the start of the new year and many people making resolutions to bring change into their lives, CAHNRS would like everyone to know that free faculty/staff fitness classes are available.
For over five years, CAHNRS has been hosting fitness classes available to all employees, staff, faculty, retirees, and spouses there of regardless of your department.
Currently, classes are every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Ensminger Pavilion from 5:30–6:30 p.m. and most Saturdays from 9–10 a.m. Classes are held both in-person and via Zoom for those who can not attend or prefer to stay at home. Sometimes, classes are held at alternate locations when evening or weekend events preempt Ensminger.
Classes are as follows:
- Zumba Gold (Tu/Th) – gentle dance fitness set to international rhythms.
- Introductory Yoga (W) – gentle stretching and pose holding.
- Zumba Toning (Sa) – slower paced Zumba using 1/2 lb to 1 lb toning sticks.
