A memorial service for Scot Chatelain will be held at the Garfield Christian Congregation Fellowship N, 303 3rd St, Garfield, WA 99130 at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4. Scot passed away on Oct. 26. Scot retired Oct. 27, 2016 from Washington State University where he had worked for 28 years. Scot worked in the Facilities Services Sign Shop and coordinated with people across campus on their department/college signage needs. He did so many things on campus, painted the WSU letters on the water tower (by hand), hand painted and gilded the Bryan Hall auditorium, and of course all of his sign work. He was a very talented artist. He was such a special soul, and he will be missed. Scot’s wife, Sharyn “Winnie” Chatelain, has asked that we let all his WSU friends/family know about the service and welcome you to attend.
