This week: President’s awards ceremony and Safety, Health, and Security Fair

Join us as President Schulz recognizes students, faculty, and staff who have taken extraordinary steps to keep the WSU community safe, healthy, and secure.

The awards ceremony and a resource exposition are part of the annual Safety, Health, and Security Fair. In-person events will take place Tuesday, October 19, in the Compton Union Building Senior Ballroom. (Face masks required.)

Online “flash talks”—short presentations packed with practical tips—will be held throughout the week.

President Schulz honors WSU’s health and safety leaders with the President’s Award for Safety, Health, and Security.

Resource fair

Tues., Oct. 19

9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Representatives from WSU and local organizations showcase products and services and respond to questions.

Daily flash talks with practical tips

Mon., Oct. 18 and Wed.–Fri., Oct. 20-22

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

WSU experts deliver 10- to 15-minute talks that provide practical information and connect listeners with campus resources. Each day has a different topic.
