Jacob Riddle Exhibition & Artist Talk

The Fine Arts Department presents an exhibition of work by Jacob Riddle, Assistant Professor, Career Track, Digital Technology and Culture.

Jacob Riddle is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and curator. Jacob’s work deals with ideas surrounding labor, class, automation, value, capital, physicality, virtuality, and the natural world.

In DPM∧GAN, with generative images of camouflage, Jacob Riddle utilizes technologies designed to mimic the natural world to break down the dichotomy between the natural and technological. These camouflage patterns act as targets that instead of concealing a subject reveal another layer of the work visible through augmented reality.
