WSU Pullman burn restrictions updated Sept. 15

To preserve and maintain life, health, and property, WSU Pullman is prohibiting the use of:

  • Charcoal grills & charcoal briquettes
  • Wood burning campfires
  • Bonfires

The following items are allowed over a non-flammable surface at least 5 feet from flammable vegetation:

  • Portable Propane Fire Pits
  • Propane Barbques
  • Pellet Grills
  • Electric & Pellet Smokers

The restrictions remain in effect until 11:59 PM on Sunday, October 31. It may be ended or extended if conditions warrant by WSU Fire & Safety or WSU Police.
