For a few exemplary WSU colleagues, congratulations are in order.

Last Friday the University paid tribute to selected faculty and staff at the annual Celebrating Excellence Awards Ceremony—this year a virtual event. President Schulz, Provost Chilton, and selected faculty associations recognized individuals for outstanding scholarly achievements or professional acumen.

If you were unable to attend the ceremony, you may still browse the list of awardees online.

The honorees have made significant contributions to their disciplines and the University community. Many are recognized nationally and internationally for their discoveries and innovations. The pedagogy and outreach of others have improved lives across Washington and beyond.

The website also recognizes faculty who received promotion and/or tenure in the past year.

The Celebrating Excellence Awards Ceremony is part of Showcase, the University’s weeklong celebration of academic excellence.
