Between the dates of Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 20, WSU’s Identity Management systems are being upgraded. This process will update aged systems that manage core tools for all WSU network identity operations for Human Resources, Student Information Systems, Active Directory, Office 365 and other systems, including the creation of Network IDs, Friend IDs, and Third Party IDs.
Ongoing, standard use of existing WSU Network IDs (NIDs) for authentication, communication (email, Microsoft Teams, etc.) will not be impacted. All current roles and access will be frozen for the duration of the process; only changes to roles and accesses may be impacted at certain times.
Please prepare for any support needs, particularly for the highlighted items below, with incoming students and parents preparing for fall semester.
Please see the following maintenance schedule and associated outages:

- Create any groups (managed, Office 365, etc.) that will be needed
- Add affiliate accounts for outside entities that will be doing work for WSU during the outage week
